I just took a quick break from writing my late grandmother's tribute (she died a few days back at 96) and I have been trying to find the best words to use; you know something that says how extremely nice she was (cos she was really nice) and at the same time how happy I am she lived this long and also how relaxed I am at the fact that she is resting in peace (she was born again)
I wondered to myself if my grandmother envisioned her death(the reaction it would bring) . So far everyone has had something nice to say about her, and the things said about her are not the conventional things said just because " we shouldn't speak ill of the dead"
She in her little way impacted the lives of those around her (No kidding), she was hard core and a giver ( she would rather starve than watch you not eat to your satisfaction). I like to believe she was fulfilled.
What am I driving at?
It's simple.....We only get one chance to live here on earth, most times we get just one shot at different stages of life, for example you can't go back to being a 4yr old or probably an 18yr old( if you are older than 18).
Make use of every opportunity you have, work hard, pray hard, play hard, study hard, love the Lord, find yourself, be yourself, impact lives, love, care, learn. Don't give up, keep pushing till you get to where God wants you to be. If He wants you to get there then He will definitely give you everything you need to get there.
Yolo-You only live once
So don't waste your life.
