Chin up darling, be focused on your goals. Take time to write them down. Your goals will energize you. You will become too busy to brood over things or people that you cannot change. The best way to answer your critics is not with words but with your actions. Be an achiever for the Lord. Nehemiah was focused. He knew that Sanballat and Tobiah were a distraction (not worth fighting) . He built the wall!!!
YOU are not someone's punching bag. Think self preservation and put healthy space physically, if necessary. "SPACE" could be the peace inside of you that your renewed intimacy with God brings. The peace that keeps you from biting the bait ie. Makes you turn away from provocation. Remember that not all battles are worth fighting. There is no prize to be won!!
