SELF DISCOVERY

Every new day comes with a new task to be done to ultimately add to one's identity, value, success, experience etc. We try to achieve success, fame, popularity, and increase with what comes our way during the day but how saddening it is that we never sit to ask ourselves
WHO AM I ?
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO ?

WHEN TO DO THEM ?
HOW TO DO THEM ?
WHY TO DO THEM ?  and
WHO TO DO THEM TO ?

The above listed questions are the primary reason why some people fail and others succeed. You cannot live in the happy side of life if your life is not fulfilling.Consequently, your life cannot be fulfilling if you cannot provide answers to the questions above.

In subsequent weeks, we shall review these questions and create a spontaneous and firm pathway to unleashing and living our life to it's fullness.
WHO AM I ? ( IDENTITY)...

This is practically the first question anyone in pursuit of greatness should(and must) ask. Here, the crisis of identity is glaring to an individual. He/she is faced with the demand of their originality and substance. And until you find the answer to this question, you are yet to begin the journey of destiny. Suffice it to say that it is the pointer to purpose: your assignment in life.
As weird as it may sound,I need you to know that you can't really grasp who you are until you know who you are not. Who you are not gives you the edge towards realising yourself. Many people are quick to listen to the magic steps of discovering their purpose or knowing who they are, without sitting back to regurgitate the opposite.
You can only boast to have a full knowledge of something, if you can buoyantly say not only what that thing can do, but also what that thing cannot do. Likewise you can't boldly say you know who you are if you can't tell of your boundaries and limits( by limits, I don't mean your hindrances or obstacles rather your natural, psychological and mental build-up). Based on the knowledge you have about your abilities and boundaries, you are half way through the unveiling of your purpose because every other piece of the discovery should fit perfectly into the tracks.
To clearly decipher who you are, then you must be able to come to terms with the following:

* Who I know myself to be: This is true if answered without sentiment and selfpity. This comes from the knowledge of what your abilities and limits are(as I have already explained). Though most people lie to themselves in this question, but those that can without deciet answer this are on their way to greatness.

* Who others know me to be:  Alas! The tragic of all because if you base your identity on what people call you, there are two things. It is either you are truly corrected or deceitfully encouraged. And at this point, you must be ready to hear the bad and ugly part if you have surrounded yourself with truthful and sincere men. Jesus Christ himself had to ask his disciples who people think he is.
It is very important to know at this point that the company of people you keep around you directly affects the response you get. And the simple way to know they are saying the truth to you, is to check if their response points to what God has called you to be or they simply want to slant and discourage you.

*Who God says you are: This remains the perfect answer to the question of identity. God has said a lot about you. He has given you your feelings, attitude, thinking pattern, background, friends etc. because he knows who you are. It is now your duty to find out that definition as given by your manufacturer(God).
In all, never allow anything override God's answer to your purpose.

To be continued...
